Hello, friends and family of Josh and Brooklynn!
On October 28th, 2018, Josh was diagnosed with stage II Non-Hodgkin’s diffuse large cell lymphoma.
Josh & Brooklynn are away from family and living in Milwaukee for dental school, and they welcomed their first baby to the world just three months ago. This is a time where they should be able to focus on studying and loving on their sweet boy, but cancer is super rude and intrusive like that!
Cancer sucks and carries with it a heavy price. The emotional fallout of bills constantly increasing seems so counterproductive to the fight.
If you know Josh & Brook, you know they are so hard-working and are incredibly kind, warm-hearted people. While they would never ask for help and certainly don’t expect it, many of us are wishing we can help this amazing couple in some way and from afar. This is an opportunity to bring our support into their day-to-day lives and help lighten the burden.
These are the few things that are being discussed for their very near future: Sperm/embryo freezing in case fertility is affected by treatments (fertility jazz isn’t covered by insurance ) chemo, radiation, and a bone marrow transplant.

After Josh’s surgery, the first thing he said was, “That was the greatest nap of my life.” He’s keeping his awesome sense of humor, and they have their minds set on the positive and plan to come out of this even stronger
