Fight for Jose: A Loving Husband and Dad detained by ICE

On Thursday morning 01/30 at 7AM, Jose was taken by ICE right outside of our home. ICE was outside waiting for him to pull out of our driveway for them to take him without any one noticing . They picked him up, parked his car outside, and drove him into an alley at the Smart & Final near our home to put him in shackles like a criminal.

Help us bring Jose, a loving husband, brother, son but above all an exemplary father back home

to his loved ones. These funds will be used for all legal fees necessary to bring Jose home as quick as possible.

My name is Kristin Franco, wife of Jose Antonio Franco Zuniga. He came into this country LEGALLY with a Visa. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from CSULB, graduated highschool with a 4.0 GPA, he pays his taxes, our medical bills, and daily bills just like anyone else. He bought his parents a home under his name so that they would also have a place to call home. From the moment Jose and I met I never knew that I was going to find a life long bestfriend, husband, and amazing father to our son. Since the day I met Jose, he has always been a supporting husband emotionally, physically, and mentally. My family considers him as their own blood, always telling him they loved him and how proud they are of him as a father and loving husband. Him and I grew up together to share the same values in life to create a foundation of love for our son. When we had our son, Cameron Franco, he was the sole provider of our family so that I was able to stay at home and take care of our son without any worries financially. I knew day by day he was stressing out on bills but never showed it to me just so that I didn’t have to worry about anything else besides our healthy baby. He is a person I console in with everything in life, we talk about what life would be like together, getting old and laughing about how much our son is growing. Jose is a father who would give the last of his belongings to anyone to make sure his family is taken care of. The bond between him and his son is something that I would never imagine could be possibly taken away from. I will continuously fight for my husband and my son to have one home where we are always together . So with this, I do hope you can see the good in Jose and how much he means not only to his son and I but how much of an impact he is to all of us.
