Fight for Jennifer Farro Pindar

Donation protected
My sister Jennifer Farro Pindar is living a mother's worst nightmare. She lost her daughter Amelia 2 years ago. She was still born at 39 weeks. No reason. No explanation. Just unimaginable grief and completely justifiable anger. She is a 35 year old registered nurse, a mother, a sister and a friend. And right now she is living every human's worst nightmare. Cancer. She has been diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia (acute myeloid leukemia-only 200,000 cases in the US per year) that is incredibly aggressive and destructive. Upon diagnosis, she was admitted to Moffitt the very next day (12-12-19) with an unknown discharge date. Due to the intensity and severity of her leukemia, she has endured 3 types of chemotherapy in just 7 days. She has a very long painful road ahead full of doctor's appointments, hospital rooms, chemotherapy and bone marrow transplants. She needs to be in remission before she has the bone marrow transplant so her pre op treatment plan will require more intense chemotherapy and another month in the hospital. This has been a massive hit to our family and has shook us to our core. My nephew is attempting to make sense of what is going on with his mother the best way his 4 year old brain will allow him to do. But my sister is a fighter. I have watched her in awe and absolute amazement as she fights every day to pick up the pieces of her life that was turned upside down by her daughter's death. She will fight this too. And she will win. She has an army of people that include our parents, her three siblings, her husband and her family and friends to help her through this. Our hope is to extend that army as much as possible. Her treatments and transplants will put her out of work for 6 months possibly longer and her medical bills will be astounding. She will need to find housing for 3 months in Tampa as she needs to be within 30 minutes of the hospital in case of an emergency and will need a full-time caregiver post bone marrow transplant. Any money we raise will be an attempt to lower the amount of crippling debt that is coming her way. Any help as soon as possible would be so greatly appreciated even if it is just a dollar. Please share this on Facebook as much as you can. Thank you so so much from the Farro and Pindar family. Hug your family and friends ️
