Fight for Jax part 2
Donation protected
Hi, many of you will know my kids and I. For those that don’t, my name is Samantha and I’m the mother of 3 wonderful children. Ecko, Kennedy and Jaxson.
I'm not even sure how to even write this or where to start. So I’ll start from the beginning. In 2019 Jaxson was diagnosed with high risk B cell lymphoblastic leukaemia with cns. Jaxson was only three at the time. He rocked the chemo treatments for three years and rang his victory bell on November 22 2022 and was officially off therapy December 11 2022. He had been off treatment for 9 months. On September 5 2023 my world was once again turned upside down and I’m currently sitting with more questions than answers. Jaxson has been sick, with what I was told was tonsillitis on July 26. He finished his antibiotics and never got better. During labor day long weekend Jaxson’s health drastically declined. We were asked to bring him in to his oncologist on September 5, what should have been his first day of grade 2, for a blood transfusion and exam. Just to help him have some strength to fight what ever was happening. Upon arriving and seeing his nurses and oncologist, they told me that they figure he is having a relapse. Meaning his cancer is back but they can’t officially say that it is because they need all the blood work and biopsies to confirm it. But they are pointing towards a relapse now that all the tests are starting to come back negative for viruses.
So I am reaching out for some financial support as I can’t go on leave from work or get caregiver benefits until the tests have been confirmed. I have been off work all week so this means I will not be getting my scheduled pay. I’m not entirely sure when I will have an income. I still need to provide for my girls at home and make sure that Jaxson has everything he needs at the hospital.
I would appreciate any and all help. And if you can’t a share and a prayer is just as good.
Thank you for reading this far and thank you so much for the support.
