Help Jabari beat Cancer!!
Donation protected
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month… There are stories we all hear about, walks and fundraisers that help awareness, and we hope it doesn't hit home or happen to us. Unfortunately, it has. My 16-year-old nephew Jabari Whitaker has been diagnosed with a brain stem tumor called diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). Jabari has been undergoing chemo and radiation. He has been accepted into a clinical trial at Duke University in North Carolina for his diagnosis. His mom, Jessica, dad, and all his aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins are fighting with him. Now, more than ever, we realize it does "Take a village," and we need the help of our extended family, friends and coworkers. We ask for prayers for our family and any donations that will help with the medical bills, clinical trial costs, and transportation cost that comes along with this road we are on with Jabari and his parents, Jessica and Rudy. Thank you for listening and helping in any way that you can. We will keep you updated on his journey to fight this ugly disease.
