For most of my life, Frank Medina has been a second dad to me in every way that matters. I stepped into the Medina’s life back in grammar school and was greeted with a lifetime of love, guidance, and unwavering support. Frank has always been the kind of man who just shows up when needed—strong, selfless, and dependable. Now, he is fighting for his life. Since May, Frank has been battling Peripheral T-cell lymphoma NOS—a devastating and extremely rare cancer. His case is so uncommon, he falls into just 1% of people with this disease. The cancer has caused intense, daily physical pain and its progression has been aggressive and overwhelming. Frank’s doctors have had to fight his health insurance company every step of the way just to secure some coverage of the expensive chemo treatments that could get him to a bone marrow transplant and give him a chance to survive.
Frank spent his life giving to others. He was a hardworking small business owner who built everything through years of dedication, knowledge, and integrity. Without his daily involvement, the business he worked so hard to create is now being forced to close, adding devastating financial strain during an already unbearable time. He was a devoted father and a longtime soccer coach for his children, always on the sidelines—rain or shine—teaching, encouraging, and leading by example.
As medical costs, treatment expenses, and comfort care continue to grow, we are raising funds to help ease this burden so Frank and his family can focus on what matters most right now: relieving his pain, fighting for more time, and cherishing every possible moment together. Any donation, no matter the amount, helps lift this weight and is deeply appreciated. Please help us support Frank in his fight by donating or sharing this page. If you’re unable to give, please consider keeping Frank and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for supporting a man who has been a second father to me and who has given so much of himself to others.
