Hello All, My name is Stephanie Cherry and that precious boy in the picture is my 15 year old nephew Ben Ben. His mother Valerie is my sister. How we got here is when she was pregnant Ben had already been diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease. At birth he had Imperforated anus and had to be rushed to Duke for surgery. At the age of 4 he was diagnosed with a terminal illness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and given a life expectancy of 19 to 25 years of age. He is currently in a wheel chair due to his Muscular Dystrophy and had been undergoing leg castings to strengthen his ankles, so he could hopefully walk again. Now at age 15 he has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma brain cancer. There was a tumor found in the Occipital Lobe of his brain on 10/31/2020 the size of an apple. On, 11/02/2020 he went in for brain surgery. on 11/03/2020 it was confirmed it was Cancer and there was no cure for it. So, now this sweet precious child's life expectancy has potentially dwindled down to possibly making 17 years of age. He knows he has Cancer but he doesn't want to know how long he has. I'm quoting his words: " Mama ...GOD is not done with me yet...He is going to make a MIRACLE out of me". I'm asking for help for my sister because she will not be able to return to work because she will be Ben Ben's main care taker. He will have to have Radiation and Chemo to hopefully extend his precious life as long as possible. A mother always needs her child, Please help and donate to allow her to be able to spend this little bit of precious time with him. If you can not donate please don't worry, prayer's don't cost a thing and are greatly accepted and appreciated. We have to have Faith and Hope during this very difficult time!!Much love and Thanks to allBen Ben's Family
