After nearly 10 years of marriage, my life changed overnight on January 11, 2026. My wife left and took our two children with her. Now, I’m facing an emergency custody hearing where I’m at risk of losing not only my marriage, but my children, my home, and everything I’ve worked so hard to build.
I am a disabled veteran who has always done everything I could to support my family. Throughout our marriage, I often worked one or two jobs at a time to make sure there was always a roof over our heads, food on the table, and clothes on our children’s backs. Providing for my family was how I showed my love and commitment. And whenever I wasn’t working, I spent my time with my children — playing, laughing, and making memories that mean everything to me.
I know I wasn’t perfect. Like many parents trying to balance work and family, I could have been more emotionally present at times. But my love for my children has never wavered. They are my entire world, and the thought of losing them is devastating beyond words.
Now I find myself in a position I never imagined — fighting to maintain my relationship with my children, while also trying to protect my home and my future. Unfortunately, every attorney I’ve contacted has asked for a $10,000 retainer, which I simply cannot afford as a disabled veteran.
I am asking for help so I can secure legal representation and fight for my children, my home, and my ability to remain an active and loving father in their lives. This isn’t about winning against anyone — it’s about making sure my children continue to have their father present, involved, and loving them every single day.
Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this page, would mean more to me than I can express. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story and for helping me fight for my family.
With gratitude and hope,
Thank you ❤️
