Fight for 40 - Caleb's AML journey
Donation protected
Caleb Wade is the average teenage guy. He is 17, he loves sports, enjoys time with friends and family, PS4, social media, etc. He recently moved and made the high school football team at Cherokee High School. A few weeks into the school year, his family received the terrifying news that Caleb has AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia).
Caleb is now missing his senior year in high school, and as a big brother, he is incredibly missed by his siblings. He's fighting for his life during what should be some of the best times of his life.
Caleb is currently at CHOA and has already experienced some complications with his treatment. He will remain there until the doctors are comfortable enough for him to return home for a few days then he will go back for several months for more treatment. During this time, his family is experiencing piles of expenses; medical bills, travel, hotel, etc., and are still maintaining the necessary care for Caleb's siblings, Kellen, Savana and Teagan. His parents and step parents all hold full time jobs so life is quite challenging for them with limited paid time off. Caleb's treatment has not been the average treatment and the family has endured far more expenses than what's typically anticipated. With your help, the family can relieve some of the financial burdens associated with this devastating circumstance. Caleb's journey will be difficult for everyone but you can help! If you have a few dollars, please consider giving. Please continue to pray for Caleb and his family as they Fight for #40!
