Fight Epilepsy Through Creativity

Donation protected
As you may already know, epilepsy has been part of my day for the last fourteen years. I have focal onset epilepsy, seizures arise unexpectedly and they are resistant to medication. I had to stop working in 2009 and turned to study, which got me back on my feet.

In 2015 I approached the Senior Advisor, Design & Social Context Office at RMIT and told her about my idea of writing a book about creativity and epilepsy. Clare responded enthusiastically, suggesting the Masters in Writing and Publishing.

This year, as part of the research, I began a sculpture course at the Melbourne School of Sculpture. It responded to my hopes that creativity is a calmative to epilepsy.

Pottery is also part of the research into what works as a calming exercise. These subjects cost money and as I have not been able to work for the last eight years, it is difficult to pay for courses such as these. I am looking for funds to pay for the  next year's sculpture and pottery courses. I am asking you to help me with whatever amount you are able to donate to my cause.
I thank you for your support.
