On September 11, 2014, my fiance, Chris, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer that metastasized to his liver. He was diagnosed only 4 days after he proposed to me on our 4 year anniversary. He is only 31 years old and was told he had a less than a 2% chance of even having this terrible disease.
I have put this together for Chris to help with mounting medical bills that insurance doesn't cover. I am also hoping to raise money to get Chris the best treatment out there. Chris is currently undergoing chemotherapy to hopefully shrink the tumor in his colon and tumors on his liver. Chris will eventually need surgery to remove the tumor in his colon and he will also need to see a liver specialist. The tumors on his liver are the more serious issue.
As Chris fights this terrible disease, it is important for him to focus on his health, rather than medical bills. You can help reduce the stress of finances by donating. Any amount helps. Chris graduated from college on May 22, 2014 with a bachelor's degree in business marketing.
Chris was the best man in his best friend's wedding on 9/20/14.
