Fight cancer with Roley

My Name is Kayleigh, I am fundraising for my registered service animal Roley. Most know him has Row Row or Bubba after his uncle. We recently learned that Roley has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma also known has bone cancer.

Osteosarcoma is an aggressive cancer that can develop in any bone of the body but the majority is seen in the limbs. It’s also the most common bone tumor that occurs in middle-age to older dogs of larger breeds. Roley has developed this bone tumor in his left paw on his wrist joint making his paw fragile and may break easily if enough pressure is applied to it.

Roley is a seven year old Great Dane mix and has been my service dog since I came home from the military. Roley is a big boy who doesn’t quite understand his size therefore is a puppy at heart. He loves playing with his little sister Coral, and his brother Sully is his best friend. Roley has a way of understanding your emotions and empathizes with you. He loves playing with the kiddos in his life and takes in any puppy he meets as if it were his own. Row loves to go camping, kayaking, and most of all swimming in the lake. Roley currently accompanies me to work at the hospital, visiting the nurses and patients during our shift. Going to work with mom is his favorite job. He has become the mascot of the security team and his favorite nurse is Rachel the house supervisor.

Even though Roley is seven years old he still has a lot of life to give and love to spread. With the help of donations Roley will be able to receive the treatment that he so desperately needs in order to keep being there for others. Roley needs a full leg amputation and at least 6-12 months of chemotherapy to treat Osteosarcoma. With the help of your donation we can provide him not only with his surgery but any other treatment that will help prolonged his life. Since the day I received Roley he has given me everything in him to help me live a full life, I owe it to him to give everything I have and to try anything I can to help him live his life to the fullest.
