Fight Cancer with Etienne: Supporting Treatment and Family
Donation protected
Cancer is an unpredictable disease that touches lives everywhere. After years of caring for cancer patients, including watching my older sister pass away, I never thought I'd be facing it myself. But now that I am, I've come to realize that no one truly understands the mental and physical pain of a cancer patient - not even doctors.
When I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, my mind was flooded with thoughts about my children, especially my youngest, Wnstn 4 and Xnsky 5. I'm not ready to leave them behind. I want to be there for them, to advise them, talk to them, and be a part of their lives. But everything changed when I received my diagnosis - localized advanced pancreatic cancer, which currently makes surgery an unlikely option.
As a parent, it's heartbreaking to try and hide my struggles from my kids, but they're too perceptive. My 4-year-old asks when I'll be strong again and tries to protect me by holding my hand. Every look, every 'I love you' from them breaks my heart. The worst part? I can't even cry without pain due to chemo side effects.
Music has become my outlet, and I've started writing songs to cope. But the financial burden is overwhelming. That's why I'm reaching out for help. Your support, whether it's sharing my story or donating, would mean the world to us. We're fighting this together, and I appreciate any help we can get. I'll keep you updated on my treatment progress. Thank you.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
