I am going to sail across the Pacific Ocean. 12,300 km (8000 miles) & 37 days at sea. And raise money in memory of my mum!

On April 29th 2018, my mother Mary passed away from breast cancer. She had been fighting the disease since 2009. The last thing she ever said to me was that she loved me more than anything in the world. I hope I can carry even a part of her strength, resilience, and love with me. She is the reason I can do this adventure of a lifetime. I am raising money in her name and I will cross the finish line just before her 6th anniversary.

Participating in the Pacific leg of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, I will sail as crew on Our Isles and Oceans, one of the 11 boats racing around the world. During March and April, we will race from Zhuhai (China) to Qingdao (China), and then across the mighty Pacific to the finish line in Seattle (USA). I’ll be representing Luxembourg and Ireland.

I’m raising money for four different charities that mean a lot to me. All money raised will be donated and each charity will get 25%. Think Pink Lux (Luxembourg), Foundation Cancer (Luxembourg), Breast Cancer Ireland (Ireland), Our Isles and Oceans (UK).
