Hello, my name is Brandy, and I made it through the pandemic with a small business partially in tact (I lost about 75% of my clients Social Media Marketing for limited service hotels.) I was hoping to continue this and go back into some home healthcare, with a positive attitude I was ready to take on the world, well I recently was dealt a blow that is very tough, I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma as well as Lobular Carcinoma 2 different kinds of Breast Cancer, 1 site is in the breast and the other site is spread to at least 4 of my lymph nodes. This was caused by Estrogen hormone therapy. I will be working part time as best as I can, at this time I have good healthcare! I have a 5 month Chemotherapy regimen I will be undergoing, I am on my 3rd cycle, I have 8 rounds of what they call the Red Devil ughh.. (Adriamycin and Cytoxan) and then I will have 12 weeks of an additional drug called Taxol to treat and shrink the tumor, this will end about the first week of April, then I have about 1 month of recovery and then a Bi-Lateral Mastectomy, then 30 days of radiation daily, the Doctor says it will be a marathon, but that I can do it!! I have no idea what this will cost and I am humbled by this. I am usually the helper!! I believe in pay it forward and when this is through if anyone needs my help I will give it, but until then if you can help with a donation, I will forever be grateful!
