Fight breast cancer - support for living costs post surgery

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to try to raise some money and support for my amazing sister, Imogen.

At just 27 years old, Imogen was diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s news that’s turned all of our worlds upside down.

So far, she has navigated her way through 6 months of chemotherapy, lost her hair, had many sad days but is now ready for all the emotions of her last chemotherapy session on Friday 21st November. We celebrated her 28th birthday yesterday (14th November) and know that next weekend will also involve some huge celebrations!

This page was initially set up to support Imogen with purchasing a wig and to help with living costs. With your kindness, Imogen was able to buy some high-quality wigs to help her feel like herself again through treatment. Thank you thank you thank you!

If you know Imogen, you know how strong, positive, and driven she is. She’s not just my sister - she’s my best friend, a genuinely inspiring person and a hugely successful dog trainer, passionate about helping people and their pups live happier lives together. Her energy, humour, and love for animals light up every room (and every field!).

She has continued to work during treatment, but she will be undergoing surgery on 18th December and will be unable to work for at least 6 weeks following that. As someone who’s self-employed, the months ahead are filled with uncertainty. There’s no sick pay or guaranteed income - just her fighting spirit and a lot of unknowns.

That’s why we’ve set up this page to support her and to help with:

- A natural-looking wig to boost her confidence and comfort during chemo, with the cost of one wig being £1500! Already achieved through your kindness!!!

- Essential living costs following surgery when she’s recovering. With no income, she’ll still need to pay her rent, pay bills and buy food for her and Jac.

If there’s one thing Imogen would want everyone to take away from this, it’s this: please check your boobs. Know your body. Early detection can truly save your life - and we’re holding onto hope that it’s saved hers.

Any donation, no matter the size, would mean so much. We understand that money is tight for everyone so maybe you could donate to this page instead of buying one coffee or one drink after work on Friday? We’ll be so grateful for anything we are able to get! Even sharing this page would be an incredible help.

Thank you for supporting Imogen through this difficult chapter. With your help, she can focus on healing, staying strong and continuing to do what she loves (with dogs by her side, of course).
