Ok Wednesday December 19, Bob Michaud took a fall off of a ladder while trying to clean the snow off his roof. His wife, Jeannette, came home from work and found him inside the house. He was immediately take to the hospital in Ft. Kent. After initial images were done, the decision was made to transport him by plane to Portland where that have excellent neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons, orthopedic physicians, and specialized therapy. He does have blood around his brain but there is no active bleeding. He has several facial fractures, but most are stable. His breathing tube was removed yesterday and he seems to be doing well breathing on his own. Hopefully if he continues to improve he can leave the ICU for a step down unit. Our family appreciates the light, love, and prayers. They truly mean so much. Jeannette will be staying in Portland for some time, so if you would please consider making a donation to help take some of the burden off the hotel bills. God bless you all.
