Fight Billy's Lymphoma
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Katrin, and I've created this page for my brother, Billy. Just recently, at the age of 44, Billy was diagnosed with lymphoma. This was devasting news for him, his wife and their 18-year-old, autistic daughter.
As an amazingly devoted father, Billy has been the primary caregiver to his daughter. With this diagnosis, his main concern is not simply about his serious condition and the treatment ahead, but also the financial damage this will likely cause and the effect on their future—especially on his daughter.
In the midst of this tragedy, you can provide real encouragement to them. To help them deal with the financial stress and strain of this horrible diagnosis, I am hoping many will join us in offering financial support as he battles cancer. Every donation helps.
Severe back pain resulted in a trip to the ER that brought the diagnosis that three of his vertebrae have lesions which extend around his whole spinal cord. The doctors say that Billy needs emergency surgery and radiation follow-up.
Because of the nature of his work, Billy has no vacation or sick pay, so when he isn't working, no money is coming in. Any help would be greatly appreciated for him and his family to help with housing, food, utilities and, of course, medical bills that will soon start pouring in.
Billy has a great sense of humor and is a genuinely likable guy. You meet him and are instantly smiling at his funny comments and engaging stories. What a storyteller he is! You can picture the story in your mind as he tells it.
Please consider giving to a wonderful brother who is smart, engaging, talented, and so wonderful. We are praying for him to pull through this.
