Fight Back for Dennis!

Donation protected
My name is Tamara Peepeetch, I am Dennis Peepeetch' little sister.   On the morning of September 24th 2015 at two am  my brother was viciously attacked by a man in the bar. The attacker hit my brother repeatedly and slammed him on his back, over and over.  The attacker has a belt within Martial Arts.   The attack was totally unprovoked and in its wake it has left Dennis paralyzed from the chest down.  During transportation to the Yorkton Hospitral my brother was not placed on a back board or had a neck brace applied.  This could have made the difference.
Because of the attacks malicious nature my brother is currently in the Surgical Intensive care unit in Regina fighting to breathe on his own, is fighting Pneumonia in both lungs, has to relearn his fine motor skills, hooked up to numerous machines, and is being fed through a tube.   My brother has to learn to live without the use of his lower body.  The minute the doctor said Permanent my families heart collectively broke.  Dennis will never be the same, as this man walks free to enjoy his life.

My brother was diagnosed with Ankylosing  Spondylitis, which fuses your vertabrae together - at nineteen years old.  This caused my brother to fight excrutiating Back pain for most of his adult years.  So much that it affected his posture.   Everyone in Yorkton knew of Dennis and his condition , except  his attacker.

For those of you that personally know my brother you know that he is genuinely the nicest man you will ever meet.  With his contagious smile, and inner light my brother SHINES.... even in the hospital bed he SHINES!  Even in his hospital bed hooked up to tubes and machines of all kinds, my brother is smiling and trying to protect us.  My brother would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it.  This attacker is currently released and free and under police protection.  What I would like to know is where is my brothers protection.   What will happen to his three children Natasha, Nathan ,and Dennis Jr and their children.  My brothers becoming a grandpa is literally his pride and joy next to becoming a father.   How will they live life without their dad, and how will my brother live without them.

My brother is lucky to be alive.  His CAT scan shows that any more pressure on the attack would have resulted in Paralyzation from the neck down.  I started this fund in order to ease my nieces and nephews in this time of great suffering and assist them in their travels back and forth from Yorkton and Regina during the duration of Dennis' hospital and rehabilitation stay.  As well as to provide my brother with the tools he will need to begin his life over again.  Dennis will be moved to a ward once he is totally breathing on his own.  After which will begin the beginning of a year stay at Wascana Rehabilitation centre.  I started this fund as assistance to his children to travel in order to see their father , to provide possible help with medical devices - Motorized Wheel Chair, as well as a van with a lift, and with any legal fees in order to sue this man who has stolen his life from my brother.
This is one of those situations where you think to yourself "I wish I was there to help or back him up" I think of that every second of day.  Seeing my brother in this condition has been the hardest thing in my families life.  The one thing his attacker could not take away from my brother is his spirit and courageousness.  My brother may have lost the use of his ability to walk, but what he lost we can all help in showing his family support in this horrific time.

This fund if for my brother , an uncle, a dad, a grandpa, a son, a friend, a nephew, a cousin, and the best man I know.  Ive decided it is time to Fight Back for my brother and show him we have his BACK this time.  If you could find it in your heart any contribution helps and is greatly appreciated.  For all of you that love Dennis your love and support are i'm sure what has gotten him this far.

Dennis we LOVE you and we are fighting for you!!!                                                               XOXO
