Fight Aldborough Pig Factory
We are a group of local residents who will be directly and adversely affected by a massive industrial development within the conservation area of Aldborough, Norfolk.
We are raising funds to fight the proposed Huge Pig Factory within the conservation area of Aldborough. We are concerned about the Environmental and Health Impact to our local residents, and to the local ecosystem.
I am Ricki Gadsby and have been a resident in Aldborough for 30 years.
We are fighting this application to STOP this huge Pig Factory.
Our aim is to raise fees for a legal team to challenge the validity of the application and submit our arguments to NNDC.
Significant concerns have been raised by NNDC's Environmental Health Officer and Landscape Officer, and Planning have committed not to approve the application without resolution to the issues raised, so approval is by no means inevitable.
We have already engaged specialist Planning solicitors to lodge a legal challenge, in particular against NNDC's decision not to require an Environmental Impact Assessment. We have also submitted an independent odour report.
Our legal costs to date exceed £5000, and so further funds are required to continue our campaign.
We need your support: PLEASE CONTRIBUTE AND SHARE THIS PAGE!
We are extremely grateful for all contributions which will serve to protect our Village.
