FIGHT FOR NOAH!
Noah Hitchcock, is a 20-year-old sophomore at Kennesaw State University, who is majoring in Mechatronics Engineering, with the hopes of one day fullfilling his dreams of working at Disney World. Noah has always loved the Magic of Disney and has made it his goal to one day be a part of the team!
In January of 2017 Noah began to have some health issues and after several rounds of antibiotics with no relief. Noahs family and Doctors decided it was time to do some further testing. No one could have prepared them for the news they recieved! Noah has stage 4 Hodgekins Lymphoma, each test revealed more and more bad news, finding masses or tumors on almost every major organ. It seemed as though each day for several weeks the challenges kept getting bigger and bigger and the news worse and worse. Challenging their Faith and Strenghth at every turn.
In spite of the daunting stage 4 diagnosis, Noah, his family and Doctors have met his Cancer challenges head on. He began recieving Chemo almost immediatly and although radiation was a recommended treatment. It was later decided that the mass in his chest was to big and to close to his heart to safely treat with radiation. This however... did not stop Noahs doctors from finding other ways to fight and shrink that mass and certainly not weaken their resolve to save Noah's life! Nor did it stop Noah and his family from fighting with every ounce of Faith ,Strength and Courage they have!
As you can imagine this all comes at a Very big Cost! There is No Way to ever prepare yourself for a battle with Cancer!!! As a Loved one, The person physically going through it or Financially! Because of this Noah's entire families life has been changed. The financial burden on his parents is enormouse and as Noah's treatment has progressed, the side effects have become very difficult and painful. Tiffany has taken the FMLA, to stay home and help with Noah's care and recovery, the place she needs and most wants to be... but it leaves her concerned for the financial stability of the family.
