I never imagined I would be making one of these, but yesterday our youngest cat, Fig, had to go in for emergency surgery to remove a foreign body from his intestines. He had been throwing up for a couple days so we took him to the vet and he was treated with fluids and medication. The vomiting stopped for a day or two before starting up again. We took him back to the vet and an x-ray and bloodwork showed some concerning results - he was going into sepsis without a clear cause. We took him to the emergency vet where they found a blockage during an ultrasound and promptly removed it, saving his life. We are so thankful for the care he received, but now we have a $7000 surgery bill, and on top of that our other cat is scheduled for tooth surgery next week that we have yet to get an estimate for. We're currently trying to work with CareCredit to get an increase on our credit limit, but we are asking for your help and support at this time so that we can continue to provide the best care for our furry little family members, anything helps.
