Let’s welcome Ms. Djenane back to Global Arts Plus!

Learning from Ms. Djenane is a highlight of fifth graders at Global Arts Plus every year.  She brings charismatic, vibrant energy and shares her passion for dance and Haitian culture with all.  Students learn about Haiti’s history, resilience, music, language, and dance.  

During this intensive 3 week art residency, Ms. Djenane and her team at Afoutayi, teach 90 students drumming, dance, and music that culminate in a schoolwide performance.
