Welcome to our second Virtual Fiesta!!
This is your opportunity to make a difference from the comfort of your own home on Saturday, October 9, at 5:00 p.m. PT. Join us in your best fiesta attire and toast yourself for supporting NYA’s’ good work!
Zoom meeting log-in will be emailed to all donors.
There are TWO ways to support Las Doradas through this event:
1. Purchase Hawaii Trip Opportunity Drawing tickets
The prize: a fabulous Pleasant Holidays Vacation for two to Maui: with round-trip air from LAX for two for 8 days/7 nights at the Royal Lahaina Resort, with a $300 credit at selected resort restaurants and two luau tickets (a $288 value). Made possible by a grant from the WILLIAM H. HANNON FOUNDATION.
Hawaii Trip Opportunity Drawing Tickets: 6 for $25 or 15 for $50
2. Donate to support the NYA Wish List* items such as:
- $25 buys books and games – from SAT Prep to Candyland
- $40 underwrites the monthly NYA program fees for one student – families contribute $40 toward tuition for the first child and $30 for each additional sibling towards the costs of the NYA programming
- $75 buys plants and equipment for the edible garden program
- $150 toward of one 24 college scholarships awarded yearly
- $500 sends a teen to a week of Leadership Camp in Yosemite
- $1000 buys a laptop for a graduating senior to take to college
- $2,000 funds the new i-Ready online program for math and English for a year – gives all NYA students individualized instruction based on their skill levels
*Wish list donations are unrestricted.
Second Drawing for Wish List Donors:
Wish List donations over $100 are automatically entered into a second drawing for a $100 Amazon Gift Card, or one week in Palm Desert! (Hawaii drawing ticket purchases do not count as donations for this drawing)
