Help send me to Field School!
My name is Aryn Fisher and I'm a student at CSU, Chico aspiring to one day become a super amazing Osteologist (one who studies bones). This means I'm an Anthropology student and as an Anthropology student there are certain things you should just do, one of which is field school. I have recently found a field school that took my breath away.
In Ireland there is a site called Black Friary which is a site that has been dated to the 13th century. This would be my first trip outside of the United States and my first full length, 5 week, field school. Though the price is high, I think I could go and benefit the dig team as well as learn more about myself and what I truly have to offer to the field of Anthropology.
I just got my acceptance letter for IFR Global and was completely and utterly stunned that I was accepted. This has been a humbling expireance and I am so beside myself that I have the opportunity to go. Please help me make this happen. Thank you for your support. If you're interested in following my journey online, check out my Ireland Bound blog, http://irelandboundbf.blogspot.com/.

I can't really offer you any awards for your support. But what I can give you is undying gratitude and thanks, as well as a blog that I will try to keep updated as to progress of the trip, the actual trip and anything cool I find in Ireland!
