During the Education Class day for Leadership Dallas, Mr. Eric Hale brought some his very special Pre-K and 1st Grade students from David G. Burnet Elementary School to interact with our class. These brilliant students walked us through math problems and were an utter joy to work with. They reminded us of why supporting education is so important!
With David G. Burnet Elementary being in a lower income part of Dallas, he share the hardships of taking his students on field trips. Before last year, the students had not experienced a field trip in almost 4 years! Last year, thru Mr. Hale's personal fundraising did the students experience a trip.
We know how important exposure to new experiences is to this critical developmental age of children.
This fundraiser is to support at least 2 field trips within this school year for the 650 Pre-K to 5th Graders at David G. Burnet Elementary.
Mr. Hale has committed to a match of $500 to support this fund - and we challenge others to match his donation!
As little as $10 will help with the admission fees and transportation for one student. Thank you for your support!
