Hey, I’m Zane from Red River Baseball in Shreveport/Bossier area. I’m the Coach for Fidel Gines in our 30 and over MSBL league here in northern Louisiana. Fidel plays shortstop for the Rats and he was playing this last Sunday and ruptured his Achilles, but that’s not the half of it. Later that night he had a massive stroke in his brain and is paralyzed and can’t speak. This could happened to any of us. No warning or symptoms and he is so young and strong. Great shape and better than most his age. He works for himself and he has no workman’s comp and little insurance. He needs help from all of us to keep afloat until he gets better. Please help Fidel. He is a great young man with an awesome personality and charisma with great spirit. The Rats love him and hope you can help too. Thank you for your prayers and love.
