Disabled writer needs help

In the past few weeks, I've had to continue to spend money on premade or easy-to-make meals because I simply couldn't do food prep and cooking. This was bad enough, but then today I went through the other food items I DO have for making meals (as I've been able to start trying to cook again), and discovered a whole bunch of stuff had gone off and had to be tossed. Including a dozen eggs that went bad, some rice puddings I'd been given as a treat, as well as a loaf of bread I only JUST bought on Friday after having medical tests done (it went in the freezer as soon as I got home, but the bag label hid the mold).

In addition to all of that, I discovered last month that some of my necessary medications aren't covered by pharmacare. I had to pay out of pocket to get them refilled.

So I'm having to fundraise to make up for what covid has cost me, and be able to ensure my rent is paid on time. If you can please help, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm still looking for work, but covid absolutely clobbered me and I've only just managed to get back to my desk this week. So if you need a writer, an editor, whether editing text, video or audio, a video captioner, data entry, anything at all, or anyone who does, please get in touch. I am available! I would say WILL WORK FOR FOOD. Food I can live without for a few days. So it has to be WILL WORK FOR RENT!

On a positive note, I have a doctor finally! This means that I'll be able to get the disability application in soon. The whole process after that that can take a year, and there's no subsidy or anything while you wait. And unfortunately there are fees associated with the forms I need to get filled out, so that's another expense. But I'm getting there!

Love you all. If you've yet to have covid, may it stay that way. This thing is no joke. The only good thing I can say is that at least I'm immune to it for a bit (I can't find actual figures on that). Regardless, I will be masking even more aggressively, since I contracted it from just 30 seconds of exposure outside my own apartment door (I was saying goodbye to someone that was leaving, and I didn't have a mask on -- that's the only point of exposure). I'm taking no chances in future. I was very lucky to only be as sick as I was, and very lucky to not have infected anyone else.
