All,
It’s with a heavy heart that I am sending this to update the status of Tim’s current medical situation.
In the last couple of months Tim has taken on some unfortunate medical issues that has left him laid up pretty bad. He initially went in to have a mole removed on his leg. The tissue turned out to be malignant and another procedure was done to check his lymph nodes to make sure that nothing had spread. Luckily nothing had spread.
Upon returning to work Tim wasn’t getting around that well after this procedure and we decided that he should probably take some time to heal a little more. Tim returned to the doctor and after an MRI a mass was discovered on his lower spine. A few days later he was in surgery to remove the mass, which turned out to be a benign tumor, unrelated to the previous procedure. There after Tim was attending physical therapy for a few weeks and felt like he was making strides to getting better. Unfortunately about three weeks ago things took a dramatic turn for the worse. Tim returned to the emergency room with loss of feeling in his lower extremities. He ended up spending about three weeks in the hospital while the doctors tried figuring out what was going wrong.
Tim is now home, confined to a wheel chair while he and his doctors discuss options to try and correct the issues that he is having.
On a happier note Tim and his wife welcomed a baby girl, his second child, about three weeks ago and mother and child are home and healthy with Tim.
As the holidays approach please keep Tim and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they deal with this unfortunate turn of events. Any of us that have worked with Tim realized the reliability, work ethic, and great personality that he has. I spoke to Tim last night and he seems to still have that up beat spirit and the same sense of humor and life that he has always had.
I felt it was important to keep everyone updated and will let you know more as I hear it.
I initially sent this out in an email and got a lot of requests to help out Tim in any way possible. I figured starting something like this would make it easy reach everyone that wanted to help. Tim has been with Walsh for about 10 years and has been a pleasure to work with. He and his family can use some help and it would be great to make thier haoliday a little less stressful.
Every little bit helps...
Thanks
