Help Cheryl Fight Cancer!

Donation protected
Touching lives, forming friendships, serving her state, her town, and her church with grace, humility, knowledge and love ~ making a difference ~ such is the life that is Cheryl Black Garner.

After impacting many people over the years, Cheryl now faces battles of her own after being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia during a recent trip to move her daughter to South Carolina, leaving her to deal with the aftereffects of chemo and an upcoming bone marrow transplant, obstacles she’s faced with characteristic grit, determination and undying courage.

Cheryl has been described as kind and empathetic ~ a loyal, driven Christian who is passionate about everything she attempts. She is adored by her two daughters Annsley (29) and Kippin (24) who have benefited from her sacrificial love and hard work ethic their entire lives. She taught them to be kind, generous and servant-hearted in all situations. While making sure her girls have had everything they needed to succeed, she also has worked very hard the last 10 years caring for her parents, Bill and Joy Black. Her sister recalls things Cheryl does away from the public eye, never seeking recognition for her volunteer work.

When you touch lives, you make a difference and now Cheryl’s friends, family, and associates wish to honor the Excelsior native with this GoFundMe account which shows their support and will raise monies to offset the many expenses chemotherapy and transplant routinely incurs.
