Edit: As of 9/5/2023, I have amended the goal to $5,000 because I am going to seek surgery outside of the US, likely Mexico.
This amount would cover the cost of the surgery, flight, accommodations, and childcare.

Hello, everyone. My name is Heather, and I’m fundraising for some much needed surgery and treatment for my feet.
The problems started years ago, but I was unable to get treatment because of work and not having insurance. My husband and I started saving for the cost of surgery, all while the problems grew and became more painful.
Then, the pandemic resulted in both of us losing our jobs, and then our state cut off our unemployment way too early, so all we saved was gone to basic living expenses, and supporting our two children.
Now, the problem has grown and become so much worse. I can no longer fit into the shoes that mitigated the pain, and has become difficult to walk.
I’m looking to raise $10,000 for surgery on one foot, and non-invasive treatment on both feet. If I can raise $14,000, I’ll be able to get surgery on both feet.
Please help me be able walk, play with my children, and work again!
