Raise money for surgery and medical expenses

Hi, my name is Joe Miller; I am raising funds to have surgery and cover medical expenses. On August 6, 2022, I felt a snap in my left knee while playing basketball with my children. I was taken to the emergency room, where they determined my Patella (knee cap) and LCL were detached. I consulted with a surgeon, who said I needed surgery ASAP to repair everything. The surgeon states I need this surgery ASAP for it to be successful. My knee cap is currently in my thigh. My injury is severe and very painful. As you see, it's been almost two weeks since this occurred.

I'm married, have five children, and am the only source of income for my family. I work as a Superintendent in construction. Currently, I am receiving no money while I am off. We are struggling to meet our daily needs. At the time of my injury, I had no insurance, and the insurance I now have will not be in effect until the end of November. They will not cover any of the medical expenses because this is pre-existing.
