Amy’s Battle With Breast Cancer

My wife, Amy Terrill, is mother to our two fur babies, Harley and Lola. She was recently diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and she is also HER2 positive. The doctors have informed us, the cancer feeds on estrogen so not only will she need to have a double mastectomy that will include chemotherapy, she will also most likely need to have her ovaries removed and will need to be on an estrogen blocker for the rest of her life. For the both of us, it still just seems like a nightmare that you just can’t seem to wake up from. We both know this will be a long battle ahead, but I know that my beautiful wife can overcome it. She’s a warrior and she’s ready to fight!! However, on the other side of things, I know it will be the hardest battle of her life. As we both have endured challenges and heartache throughout our lives thus far, neither of us were prepared for this. We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the financial burden on us. At this time we are unsure of how long Amy will be out of work. As most couples do these days, we both work, and to lose one of our incomes, will most definitely be a huge blow to us. No donation is too big or small, anything will help towards the financial relief as we enter the battle zone. We ask any and all to please share this with others and spread the word to reach as many as possible as Amy starts her battle with cancer. We are hopeful any amount donated we receive will help keep stress down so Amy may focus on her treatment and getting well instead of any financial burdens that may arise.
