Pebble is our 9-month-old puppy, my best friend, and my shadow. She’s the happiest little soul — the kind of dog who wags her tail so hard her whole body wiggles, who greets every person like they’re her long-lost best friend, and who curls up beside me when I’m having a bad day.
A few days ago, everything changed. Pebble came home dragging her front leg, crying in pain. I rushed her to the vet, terrified. After examining her, they told me the unthinkable — it looks like she may have been shot. The damage is so severe that her leg cannot be saved. Without surgery to amputate it, Pebble will continue to live in pain, and her life will be cut short.
She’s just a baby. She doesn’t understand why she hurts. She still tries to hop around and give kisses, even through the pain. She just wants to be loved and play like any puppy should.
The surgery and aftercare are expensive, and I simply can’t afford it on my own. I am heartbroken and desperate to give Pebble the life she deserves — one filled with love, comfort, and joy, not suffering.
If you can, please consider donating to help save Pebble life. Every single dollar brings us closer to giving her a pain-free future. If you can’t donate, please share her story.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping me fight for Pebble. She’s more than just a dog — she’s family.
