Help Mark Recover

To those who know Mark,

You have most likely experienced his kindness and generosity.

Now it’s time for us to band together and share some kindness back.

If you didn’t know already Mark has been through the wars lately.

In August last year he was not feeling well and managed to call an ambulance before passing out from a stomach ulcer that had burst causing an infection. He underwent an emergency surgery and a tube down to his stomach draining the infection. He wasn’t released from hospital until November 5th! Spending a whopping 14 weeks in hospital!

To make things better for Mark, he was rushed back for surgery on the 28th of November, leaving him in a Critical Condition in the ICU.

He wound up having multiple complications from a perforated stomach to a perforated bowel. Breathing and eating through a tube.

He has battled some scary times and is still currently in-hospital recovery.

Mark spent his Birthday, Christmas, New year’s, and Australia day in a hospital bed with few visitors due to COVID.

He has had upwards of 12 surgeries since August.

While all this has happened, his companion Daicos has been staying in a doggy hotel/Kennel, which hasn’t been cheap. With the help from family, Daicos has had a place to stay.

I’m sure everyone wishes Mark a Speedy recovery, and hopefully, he’s out of the hospital soon!
