This year has been a year of change. The Lord called me to resign my music director position at Hope Chapel and move to Pennsylvania to take care of my family. His confirmation on this move came as he provided a fulltime job with Kimberton whole foods within a week of my arrival. It has been hard leaving a position that God called me into almost two years ago but I told Him a while back that I will go wherever you call me.
During this time that God called me to Hope Chapel, a friend of mine named Jason Damico and myself started to work on a music project called Cross. From the first song we wrote together, we noticed right off the bat that there was something special about this project. We didn’t know where it would lead us but we decided then that if this ever became something that it would not become a rock band but a ministry, that its sole purpose would be to spread the name of Jesus to whoever God brings our way.
Amazingly two years later, God has provided a short term possibility in July for our ministry. Its called The Extreme Tour. This tour is a Christian tour that goes all over the US. Cross was picked up for the Northeast section of this tour. This opportunity will take us to PA, NY, and CT July 9th through the 23rd. You can visit and check out their website at www.theextremetour.com.
When I first heard of it, I told Jason that God has to be in this since we haven’t even played one show yet. He agreed and we both were very excited for this. Unfortunately, I will not be getting any compensation for this tour but I decided I was going to do this anyway because it isnt about money its always about Jesus and spreading the gospel. I didnt know if my employer would let me take the time off to do this. So I left it in Gods hands and told Him if you want me to go, then let them say yes. My employer has agreed to let me take 3 weeks off for this trip which I praise God so much for.
I come to you to ask you if you would help me by supporting me during this tour. I’m looking to raise $2000 which would fill in the gap that I would be losing by not working. It will go towards supporting my family. I'm asking you to consider giving a one time gift to help me do this ministry. Anything that you can give would be a huge blessing to me and my family. Thank you and God bless you Josh
