On April 14th, I was notified that my brother, Adam Harrison, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer known as Burkitt's Lymphoma. Since the diagnosis, we have been informed that the cancer has spread from his bowes to his liver, spine, jaw, and bone marrow. After a PET scan it was assessed that he is dealing with a Stage IV diagnosis. To attack this disease, his oncology team has devised a 6 month plan that consists of 21 day chemotherapy treatment cycles.

With the assistance of  both the Mu Lambda Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta at the University of South Carolina and some of Adam's friends from high school, including his best friend Richard, I would like to help my family  get through this journey as easily as possible. To do that we are raising money to assist in medical expenses, transport, and any other day-to-day fees relevant to this situation.

Despite the diagnosis, just a month and a half before his high school graduation, Adam is more than optimistic. He welcomes all thoughts and prayers and can be contacted either through the chapter,  the comment section on this site, or my person cell number.

Thank you. God bless.
