A lot of you know my story and a lot of you don’t. This is extremely hard for me to do and extremely hard for me to ask.

Hi…my name is Kami and I’m an alcoholic. I have been drinking off and on since I was 15 years old. I have been carrying a lot of baggage around with me for way too long and it has negatively affected my family in every way you can imagine. I am FINALLY seeking help. The kind of help I believe I need…beyond God. I will be checking myself into a rehabilitation center within the next week. I am really struggling within myself…just feeling like everyone would be better off without me. That may seem weak to everyone reading this…but.. I have been struggling for years. I’m tired and I just want these feelings to end. I want my girls to be happy…I want my parents not to have to worry about me…I want Wendy to have her peace back. So….i have to do something! This is my next step. So, if you can help with even the smallest bit to help reach my number…it would be greatly appreciated. With my insurance (Medicare/BC/BS) it’s 290.00 a day for the first 6 days and then after that it’s free. Not sure how long I’ll be in there. When I spoke to the lady on the phone she said they usually say a month and then after evaluation it may go up from there. So…that is my story…that is why I am asking for help. This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I don’t normally let people in. I’m very private. But staying sober has been very difficult for me…and I am determined to make it stick this time!
