I took in Blair a 6 week old heeler puppy Saturday night. We were not planning on getting a puppy but she needed help. If you know me I can’t say no to an animal in need. Blair is very tiny compared to her siblings. When she came home she couldn’t keep any food down and would be very weak at times. Monday 11/8 I took her to the vet where they immediately hospitalized her.
Upon X-rays they found something pressing against her esophagus. We had a radiologist view her X-rays. They came back saying it’s a vascular ring anomaly. She needs a CT scan and surgery to save her life. This is going to be very costly. Since we weren’t planning on another puppy we did not have the funds set aside for this.
We are a foster family and donate often to rescues both financially and volunteer wise. We have fostered over 15 animals in need.
