Randy's Recovery

Anyone who knows Randy Comitini knows he’s a giant personality; full of life, talented, and devoted to his family and friends. In June of 2022, Randy suffered a stroke and was in a coma for three months. Throughout the next 7 months, Randy was transferred to four different rehabilitation facilities where he underwent extensive treatments. Defying the prognosis and opinions of his medical team, Randy continuously proved them wrong. With the power of prayer and optimism, Randy is finally back home and is working hard every day towards a full recovery with support from his friends, family, and loving fiancé Veronica Del Pizzo. God has been extremely good to us and we are blessed.

Randy is currently continuing rehabilitation treatment at home. In addition to daily physical and occupational therapy, medical supplies and equipment that will increase his accessibility and safety at home are essential to his recovery. While his insurance benefits partially cover these needs, there is still a substantial amount of support that is not covered that would tremendously improve Randy’s quality of life and recovery.

Recently engaged in November, Randy and Veronica are planning to be married in July of 2024. Randy would love nothing more than to walk his loving bride down the aisle. We are reaching out to his loving community for support in helping this one-of-a-kind human.
