**Thanks to all who donated to bring us to $2,500! This will cover a year of yard care/snow removal/house cleaning. I am keeping this open for a bit longer because medical bills can climb so quickly. Please feel free to continue to donate! Every dollar will help this wonderful family!**
On September 18, Colleen, was diagnosed with cancer. The cancer is in her right breast and about 3 lymph nodes. It has not spread anywhere else, thankfully. She started chemotherapy on Thursday, October 2, 2014. The next year will be a journey – 4 months of chemotherapy, followed by a mastectomy, radiation and endotherapy.
She is a warrior and will get through this – and they will get through this as a family. But it helps to have some guardian angels to help carry the cross and burden.
This site has been set up by staff (and friends) at Loyola University Chicago to help support Patrick, Colleen, and the family through this difficult time.
While it will be left to Patrick to determine the use of the funds, we have set the goal to be able to take care of a year of house cleaning and a year of yard care/snow removal. Any additional funds will likely support medical bills.
