Phyllis Wilson has had an influence on many people in her life. He life goal was to teach, whether academic, music, drama or any other subject she loved students and wanted them to learn. But nothing meant more to her than Jesus and sharing him with students and families. Which is why it was so important to her to start a christian school in the town she loves so much Norwood. She started Cornerstone Christian Academy which has just florished under her Godly leadership.
Many of you know, but some may not. Around May of this year Phyllis was disgnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She has been undergoing chemo for the last couple of months which has currently been put on hold. Her body has not being handling the chemo as well as we had hope even though her cancer marker is down and is being treated at the hospital. Anyone who knows her knows she is spunky and a fighter and she will continue fighting this thing, and is being taken care of by her Amazing husband, Ed Wilson. However with insurance the way it is and with all these treatments, Dr. visits and hospital stays, the medical bills can add up. Mom would never ask this, but it would be so amazing if we could gather enough money to help with some of the financial preasure they have during this time. Mom has never cared about money and her call and goal was to change lives, even though sometimes the pay was next to nothing. Its time we gave back to her.
Many of you have told me Phyllis has made a huge impact in your life and others I have seen for myself. If Phyllis made a differene in your life, would you consider donating to her medical bills.
