Support Nancy Braver's Urgent Medical and Housing Needs

I am raising funds for a fantastic artist and friend who is in need of medical support and who needs to find a new home.

Nancy Braver is an artist living in LA. They had a very successful career as an artist that came to an abrupt halt 10 years ago when they started dealing with a series of rare, chronic, and disabling diseases.

They are dealing with EDS Elhers-Danlos Syndrome that attacks the connective tissues and joints all over the body resulting in hyper mobility where joints pop in and out without warning, limited mobility, and chronic pain. They also are living with POTS Postural Tachycardia Syndrome. This disease impacts the vascular system and heart. It makes the heart rate speed up or slow down wildly when standing or sitting. It causes dizziness, anxiety, headaches, chronic pain, and intense fatigue. They are also dealing with Mast Cell issues which cause the other two diseases to be harder to manage and impact the immune system's ability to cope with histamines of all kinds. And there are other potential health issues still being diagnosed.

They need to move from their current apartment. They are an ambulatory wheel chair user and cannot navigate their current residence successfully. It isn't made for a person with disabilities, so it's time for them to find a place that is fully accessible to them.

Anything that you can offer is helpful. The goal is big, but in order to do everything that is needed and as well as possible, this is what is needed.
