Hello all,
Many of us know first hand or have heard of someone fighting Breast cancer, in Dec. 2013 it really hit home when my sister and friend Lori Baham was diagnosed with Breast cancer. In Jan 2014 she had a mastectomy and started chemo treatments in mid-March 2014, which she will endure for a year. Under the advisement of her doctor she is not able to work due to the number of treatments, bloodwork, doctor visits etc that comes along with chomo. My sister is such a loving, caring and giving person that you could ever meet. She always thinks about everyone first before herself. She would literally give you the shirt off her back and her last $10 dollars if she knew you needed it. She is an inspiration to all that meet her and I look up to and admire her tremendously. When Lori found out she had Breast Cancer her words to her doctor were: What are we going to do to beat this? Her doctor was shocked that she didn't break down. She said: I WILL BEAT THIS, TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO DO! Lori is such a strong person and no matter how bad she is feeling, she will still say: I'm doing good, even though she is hurting or nausiated and really doesn't want to talk. She just doesn't want anyone to worry or be burdened by her needing help. Lori is my shinning star and my rock. I am asking and humbly requesting any donations that you can spare to help my shinning star in her time of need. Thank you in advance for your generous gift.
This is something I wrote for my sister called:Why Her
I sit and wonder why her,
Why my sister.
Why was she picked to fight this battle?
I would gladly step in her shoes to concer this battle.
I am strong but, I have come to realize just how strong she is.
Nothing will ever stand in her way to beat this.
Still full of life, endless courage and a faith that won't stop.
Cancer stay a bay as this fight I will never stop!
She is my sister and I love her dearly, she is my rock as much as I am hers.
Yes, she is my sister;my best friend and I am hers!!
Thank you all,
Christi Baham
