Hope for Grace
For those of you who don't know her, this gorgeous ball of sunshine is Grace Renfrow. Despite facing struggles and obstacles since birth, Grace is constantly bringing smiles and joy to everyone around her with her beauty, curiousity, and shining personality. If you know her parents, Ashley and Jason Renfrow, this is not surprising given the amount of love and unconditional support they put into their family.
In late December, Gracie began limping. After several hospital trips, doctor visits, and numerous tests, Gracie was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma, a very rare cancer that starts in developing nerve cells. This cancer has spread aggressively to the point that our beautiful girl has been emergency transported to Miami Children's hospital, iscurrently in surgery to prevent paralysis and to remove as much of the cancer as possible before starting aggressive chemotherapy.
Ashley and Jason have high hopes of their little fighter pushing through this hard time but Gracie has a long battle ahead of her. With Grace being in such a delicate circumstance, Jason is staying at Miami Children'sHospital with her 24/7, while Ashley tries to balance taking care of their son, Ryan, supporting her husband and daughter, and supporting the family financially on her own. We are asking for all of our family and friends support to help keep this family on their feet while they push through this hard time. Anything helps and everything is appreciated. If you are not able to donate please keep them in your prayers or positive thoughts. If you wish to donate food or send a toy or card to Grace, please reach out to me through here.
