From slalom skiing behind a boat to being life-flighted in a helicopter with devastating injuries...that is how Woody Brooks’ life dramatically changed on October 1, 2021.
Body builder. Gym enthusiast. Volleyball player. Wood worker. Builder. Water-skier. We all pray that through continued therapy, hard work, determination, and the outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and neighbors that Woody is physically able to do the things he has a passion for again.
Woody and his wife Annmarie are two of the kindest, selfless, modest people anyone will ever have the fortune to meet. To be even a small part of their lives is impactful and truly a blessing.
Health insurance covers some medical expenses. It does not cover many expenses related to renovating a home to make it wheelchair accessible, purchasing specialized medical devices, let alone purchasing transportation.
If you find it in your heart, please donate to help two of the most loving and giving people whose lives have been unexpectedly turned upside down. Our goal is to raise funds to help offset the costs of home renovations and to purchase: a motorized wheelchair, a SpO2RT 2 ICU bed, a wheelchair accessible van,
and a growing list of other items Woody needs for daily living.
The never-ending love and support from Woody and Annmarie’s families, friends, neighbors, and “work families” at Aultman Hospital and Oriana House, Inc., means the world to them during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Thank you.
