We at the Rabbit's Riot are currently raising funds for 'Where We Are Now 2018' LGBTQ+ Theatre Festival and Celebration Pride!

Last year we had over 1000 audience members from all over Ireland and the UK with almost 100 volunteers and artists taking part!
Now we are growing! With artists coming from LONDON, BELFAST, GALWAY and all over Ireland to bring their stories to the stage in the rural North-West of Ireland!!

WHO ARE WE??
The Rabbits Riot are a theatre company in the North-West of Ireland...we create work with local theatre-makers starting conversations about issues that often get brushed under the rug!
Although we are a loving country we are still a country of a great divide with old age thought processes and the time for acceptance and the freedom of identity is still a work in progress...
That's where YOU can help!! 'Where We Are Now' is an LGBTQ+ Theatre Festival telling the stories... the real, human stories...the nitty, gritty stories...the stories that catch a viewers attention and make them think 'WOW...I have never thought of life like that before'...the stories that humanise topics that to some may still seem alien.
WHO NEEDS US?? (AND YOU!!)
It is the LGBTQ+ communities in the rural North-West of Ireland who will benefit from these funds, it's their lives and the lives of those in our little rural community, that will be affected as eyes, minds and hearts are opened and daily lives and interactions changed moving towards a more equal, more united and more powerful tomorrow <3
WHEN'S THIS HAPPENING??
This year we are launching Where We Are Now in the first week of May! So we need the funds coming in during March to promote the festival and raise awareness for it!
HOW WILL WE SPEND THE MONEY??
The funds, your beautiful support, will be used to market 'Where We Are Now'...we can talk as much as we want about changing lives but if people don't know Where We Are Now then how will they FIND US? Posters, banners, brochures, Facebook ads, flags...these all cost money, raising awareness of all the hours of work and input takes money...that's where we REALLY need your help!!
What else??
Loooads of artists are travelling to us for the festival and producing AMAZING work for it so we want to help them cover their costs!!
There are so many support groups for the LGBT+ Community and a chunk of our profits will go to helping them carry out the important work that they do!
WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT??
Your support in raising these funds will mean that stories often brushed under the rug in rural Ireland are actually going to be heard...
Your support will show the LGBTQ+ community how many people in Ireland and the world...stand with them in the fight for equality...
Your support will build bridges where there are voids in the rural communities and bring hearts and minds closer together <3
