My sister and I have always valued education. As students ourselves, we understand the struggles of not having enough resources—even lacking a proper study space can be challenging. Now imagine a school that can’t even afford a grass cutter to maintain its gardens.
This GoFundMe is for Bulo West Elementary School in the Philippines. Bulo is a small barangay in Kalinga Province where our mother grew up, and it was always our summer home as kids.
The school currently has 104 students
My aunt works at the school and recently posted on Facebook asking for donations for volleyballs and rackets. She explained that the school receives very little support, even having to approach cooperatives for help, with only one organization assisting them. Anyone familiar with the challenges in the Philippine Department of Education knows how difficult it can be.
We are creating this initiative to raise awareness and provide support to these students.
