DINNER
Donation protected
As part of our final year in the Curtin University Screen Arts degree, we are making the short film titled 'Dinner' as a showcase of our skills in filmmaking.
'Dinner' is a comedy ensemble short film about the chaos of family dynamics and self exploration. Through a brutally hilarious family dinner, Lachy is forced to combat the divorce of his eccentric mother and hostile father while dealing with the expectations enforced by his cousins pyramid scheme, his sexually repressed drunk Aunty, his competitive and insensitive older brother and deranged bad-tempered grandfather. Lachy struggles to demand respect from his family, and his desire to escape becomes indispensable.
This film is produced by a team of extremely creative and skilled students who would appreciate your support to produce our final university production.
Why we need your help:
As very broke uni students, we unfortunately don't have the capabilities to fund this project entirely ourselves, so we ask for your help to make this film come to life! Your donations will help us fund vital elements of our film, including art department materials, equipment hiring, location rentals, cast costuming, film festival distribution and crew support.
'Dinner' is the 'pièce de résistance' of our Screen Arts degree, and your support would help us create the best production possible, and allow success in degrees.
Join the Dinner family, any amount of donation will be greatly appreciated!
The Team:
Produced by Amy Johnston
Directed by Ben Wright
Director of Photography: Olivia Spear
Production Designer: Kiri Deane-Spread Speir
Sound Designer: Julien Walker
Editors: Anoop Singh and Tallulah John
