Hello, my name is Rocio, and my entire family and I are raising funds to help cover the repatriation costs for our beloved family member, Andrés Ampuero Sierra.

It is with deep sorrow that we share the news that my cousin "Andy"—as we affectionately called him—is no longer with us. Last Sunday, June 20, 2026, he was struck and left behind by a drunk driver; his passing has left a profound void in our lives, our family, and the hearts of everyone who had the joy of knowing him.

For those who didn't know him: he was a 41-year-old young father—cheerful, a devoted son and an excellent father, hardworking, humble, respectful, a man of faith, kind-hearted, and a dreamer. He held dreams and plans that will now never come to pass due to this sudden and unexpected loss.

During this incredibly difficult time, in addition to our grief, our family is facing the unexpected expenses associated with the repatriation process. We humbly turn to family, friends, and kind-hearted individuals who knew him to ask for your support. We want to bring him back to our country to be with his parents, children, and relatives, so they can bid him a final farewell and lay him to rest.

Hola, me llamo Rocio y junto a toda mi familia estamos haciendo una recaudación de fondos para ayudar con los gastos de la repatriación de nuestro querido familiar Andrés Ampuero Sierra.

Con profundo dolor le compartimos que mi primo "Andy" como cariñosamente solíamos llamarlo, hoy ya no esta junto a nosotros. El pasado domingo 06/20/2026, fue atropellado y abandonado por un conductor ebrio, lo cual hoy nos deja un profundo vacío en nuestras vidas, en nuestra familia y en todos quienes tuvimos la dicha de conocerlo.

Para quienes no lo conocieron déjenme contarles, él era un joven padre de 41 años, alegre, buen hijo, excelente padre, trabajador, humilde, respetuoso, creyente, bondadoso y soñador. Sueños y planes que nunca llegarán a cumplirse por esta partida tan inesperada.

En estos momentos tan difíciles, además del dolor que estamos atravesando, la familia esta enfrentando gastos inesperados que conlleva todo este proceso de repatriación, por ello que hoy acudimos con humildad a familiares, amigos y a todas las personas que lo conocieron y de buen corazón para pedir su apoyo para que el pueda regresar junto a sus padres, hijos y familiares a nuestro país, quienes lo despedirán y darán eterno adiós y santa sepultura.
